University students are among passengers set to benefit from new 24-hour operating bus services six days a week on two Stagecoach routes in the Guildford area.
The bus operator’s newest routes 1 and 2 are now providing frequencies of up to one every 10 minutes Mondays-Fridays between Guildford town centre, the Royal Surrey County Hospital and the University of Surrey, and a 15-minute service between Stoughton and Guildford.
Both routes operate every 15 minutes on Saturdays and every 20 minutes during Sundays and Public Holidays. The NI night bus will include an hourly service Tuesday to Sunday early mornings during University term time.
Buses offer onboard USB charging points, free wifi and contactless payment technology and carry a livery showcasing the partnership between Stagecoach and the University of Surrey.
“This is fantastic news for our customers in Guildford,” said Keith Gait, Stagecoach South’s Customer Service Director, about the service enhancements.
