McGill’s, Scotland’s largest independent bus operator, is hosting 2018’s annual ALBUM conference.
Originally booked at Cameron House, Loch Lomond, due to a fire at the hotel, the venue has now been moved to the Marriott Hotel, Glasgow city centre; with a new date of Monday 14 – Wednesday 16 May.
The event will see a range of exhibitors, speakers and bus & coach operators come together to share their best practice and enjoy a variety of entertaining, informative and interesting activities, organised by McGill’s.
McGill’s Managing Director, Ralph Roberts, says: “We are very excited to host this fantastic event within Glasgow, for companies UK wide to attend, highlight positives and issues within the industry and enjoy the activities over these three days.
“We are very saddened to hear of the tragedy that took place at Cameron House, and my team worked very hard to ensure we had another, equally amazing, venue.
“This year, we are welcoming all bus & coach operators, ALBUM members or not, to come and see the trade stands and view the buses on display.
“After sourcing the Marriott, Glasgow, I now know that we will have an excellent ALBUM conference, with our theme of ‘Driving Stability out of Uncertainty’, and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there.”
