Colne-based dealership David Fishwick has become the first supplier to take delivery of the entry-level Iveco Daily Start minibus, receiving one for use as a demonstrator.
The 6m Daily Start joins the Daily Line and Tourys in Iveco’s line-up. Both the manufacturer and the dealer say that it is ideal for operators who want a simple and reliable vehicle with low running costs.
It can seat up to 16 passengers and Fishwick’s retail price starts from £43,350 plus VAT.
Standard equipment includes a manual sliding side door and a retractable step, along with parking sensors, a PA system and saloon air-conditioning. Options such as USB charging points, CCTV and an electric sliding door are available.
Says Iveco Bus UK Product Manager Abdi Ali: “The Daily Start’s functional configuration offers fleets the opportunity to make their operations even more profitable.
“We’ve designed the Daily Start to be highly-competitive within its class. We are expecting strong demand, particularly from operators carrying large volumes of passengers over short journeys, where the added comforts of our higher-specification vehicles are not necessary.”
