Brian Way, 58, MD of Wayahead Travel, has died after a short illness
Brian was a trainee and then a bus driver with the former Royal Blue Coaches in Bournemouth, before setting up Wayahead Travel 20 years ago. He leaves his wife Carol, who will continue to run Wayahead Travel.
He was a proactive and highly supportive member of the Coach Tourism Association (CTA), and was elected to the board in 2016. The coach industry and aircraft were life-long passions.
“Brian was a lovely man and will be sorely missed by all those who knew him from both sides of the coach tourism industry,” says CTA chair Denise Bridges. “As many people have said, he was a real gentleman and someone who always had time to help others.”
His funeral will take place on Monday 3 July at 1300hrs at Bournemouth Crematorium, BH8 9HX.
