Sustainability, luxury and the ‘next generation,’ see first-hand the latest vehicles on the market
As Euro Bus Expo makes its return from 30 October-1 November at the NEC, Birmingham, the ‘next generation’ of vehicles are set to hit the stage with a record-breaking 130 on display across the three days.
Mercedes-Benz Buses & Coaches is presenting the new Citaro Hybrid and the Sprinter City 75 at the show on stand A30. While over on stand D100, Alexander Dennis is exhibiting a range of low- and zero-emission single- and double-deck buses, as well as luxury coaches, including the new Plaxton Panorama.
Visitors to Irizar UK’s stand A10, will see its latest generation of coaches, all featuring the new DAF-ZF Driveline. The Irizar Integral i8 at 14 metres, built to corporate specification with 55 seats; a 12.9m i6 to standard specification and 57 seats; and a 10.8m i6S with 39 seats will be on display.
On stand A50, Optare is unveiling its fully-electric buses. As well as the Solo xFE and Versa xFE demonstrator examples of Euro 6 extra-fuel-efficient buses. Stand C10 will see Pelican Yutong unveil the all-new G12 coach. It will also display two TC9 coaches and the E10 electric bus.
Scania (Great Britain) will highlight its focus on sustainability at the show, with its stand A20, entirely populated by vehicles capable of operating on renewable fuels.
On its stand A80, VDL Bus & Coach is exhibiting the first New Driveline Futura FHD2-129, including a wheelchair lift, and another luxury FHD2-129.
Many other vehicles will be on display throughout the show, as well as the latest technology, equipment, accessories and business solutions launching onto the European market.
