Johnsons Coach and Bus Travel operates both routes, which offer regular travel pass purchase deals
Zeelo, the flexible shuttle service, has launched its ZeeloCommute coach-based offering in partnership with car manufacturer Aston Martin to serve its site in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Johnsons Coach and Bus Travel of Henley-in-Arden is operating two vehicles on three journeys in each of the morning and afternoon, serving Coventry, Cubbington, Leamington Spa and Whitnash.
Aston Martin employees are taken directly to their office and they are able to buy either a day pass or a 10-, 30-, 50- or 100-day ‘flex pass’ for the services.
The services use Zeelo’s Route Integration Navigation Automation (RINA) AI-powered algorithm, and the company says that each person who commutes by coach saves an average of 91.2g of CO2 per mile.
Zeelo Co-Founder Barney Williams says that the organisation now wants to establish many other commuter coach services in other parts of the UK.
“We know that the key to making a shared commuting service successful is to work with companies directly. By implementing just one commuter coach, we can take around 50 cars off the road every day. The journeys are comparably cost-effective to driving, and with ZeeloCommute, employees can be more productive and also ensure that they get home on time in the evenings.”
