All departing flights from Stansted Airport had to be cancelled until 0000hrs on 30 March after a Mercedes-Benz Citaro bus, operated by Arriva on the airport’s car park shuttle service, caught fire outside the terminal.
Four fire crews were sent to the scene to tackle the blaze, which "completely destroyed" the shuttle bus, parked in a waiting area.
There are no reported injuries and the fire had been caused by an engine electrical fault on the bus.
