CityFox expands from Bristol to North Wales

Bristol-based CityFox Group has bought Snowdonia Travel for an undisclosed sum.

The Porthmadog-based firm, which has an O-Licence for three vehicles, runs buses and coaches.

Previously owned by Stephen Morris, the firm was incorporated in March 2015.

It is being rebranded as Splendour Coaches and “will benefit from management services” direct from CityFox Group’s Bristol HQ.

In a statement, CityFox says: “This acquisition will broaden the range of services that CityFox is able to offer and add to its geographical reach.”

Owned by Rhys Hand the firm, which runs 100 taxis in Bristol, Bath and Plymouth, was also involved in the operation of PierBuses UK in Bristol.

It has recently been joined by Phil Stockley, formerly of TM Travel and previously Solent Blueline, as its Strategic Development Director.

Mr Stockley is also currently Interim Contract Manager with HCT Group; a “temporary assignment mobilising and managing a newly awarded Special Educational Needs contract” in south-west London.

CityFox says its vision is “to acquire complementary businesses in transportation management or business’ providing local bus or coach and taxi services.”

Looks great. Certainly impressed with their graphic design. Wish you all the best.

Does cityfox Bristol actually exist or is it a figment of Rhys Hands imagination?
