Commonwealth marks Queen’s birthday

A Buckinghamshire coach operator has taken a new double-decker 91-seater Bova Synergy coach.

Firm had coach delivered as close to the Queen’s birthday as possible

Iver-based Commonwealth Coaches Operations Manager Steve Edwards says: “We had delivered as near to the Queen’s birthday as possible, and have named it ‘Elizabeth II’, in honour of the Queen’s 90th birthday.

“As we are Commonwealth Coaches and the Queen is head of the Commonwealth, we thought this would be appropriate.”

Established in 1963, the family firm runs nine coaches and minibuses, on a variety of work. It also operates the Leicester Express, a twice-daily express coaches service direct to the city from Hayes and Wembley, seven days a week.
