Customer service awards for
Stagecoach Yorkshire duo

Two Stagecoach Yorkshire employees have won awards for their customer service.

Jay Churn (right) receives his award

Jay Churn, who work at the operator’s Ecclesfield depot, won the silver award in the Customer Service category at the annual Stagecoach Group Champions Awards, while Adam Gath, from the Chesterfield depot, gained the bronze award.

As Park & Ride Supervisor, Jay helps maintain the link between the buses and the trams at Middlewood, Sheffield, while Adam is a driver.

“I am thoroughly delighted for Jay and Adam and would like to congratulate them on these awards which are thoroughly deserved,” says Matt Davies, Stagecoach Yorkshire’s Managing Director.

“They make a real difference to our business and to our customers every day and I would like to thank them, and our many other hard-working staff, for the part they play in delivering high-quality services to our passengers.”
