Nominations for this year’s routeone Awards have closed and those selected as potential finalists have until Friday (26 May) to complete and return their entry forms.
The entry forms are key to round two of routeone’s annual search to find the best in the British coach and bus industry.
Now poised to make crucial decisions on who should go through to the net round, the judges will rely entirely on the information supplied.
All nominees received the entry forms following the end of the nomination process in April.
Nominees must show why they should be considered for one of the industry’s most valued accolades while also supplying key information about their performance and achievements.
When they meet in early June, the five-man panel of industry experts will assess each entry and determine the most appropriate category or categories before determining who should be shortlisted as a finalist.
Those who have impressed sufficiently to justify being shortlisted will be informed before the end of June when the judges will invite answers to some more searching questions that will help them determine the winners.
In the case of finalists for the people awards there will be interviews, while the judges reserve the right to defer other decisions until they have completed site visits and verify information supplied.
Now in its 13th year, the routeone Awards seek to reward excellence and best practice through a judging process that is both rigorous and fair.
The winners will be announced on 4 October at routeone’s Gala Presentation Evening at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
