A group of Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) Scotland members affirmed their commitment to the RNIB Bus Charter at an event in Glasgow’s Transport Museum.
The Charter is aimed at getting bus operators to commit to making bus travel easier for the visually impaired.
Says CPT Scotland’s Paul White: “All CPT members already work towards improving accessibility and train staff to be aware of passengers with particular conditions that make bus travel difficult.
“But in signing up to the Charter we are hopefully highlighting this issue and re-assuring passengers of our commitment.”
