To give coach and bus technicians clear vision in the workshop, Philips has introduced the CBH51 LED hybrid professional bonnet lamp.
It has 32 powerful LEDs that provide an intense, 6000-K natural white light source and bright wide beam that is also gentle on the eyes.
The CBH51 has a dual power facility. A ‘boost’ mode gives a powerful 1,200 lumens of light output and a wide beam angle of 120o, which Philips says is perfect for illuminating the entire work area and helping technicians to spot the smallest of details.
Should the lamp need to be used when it is not plugged in, it has an ‘eco’ mode to preserve battery life. At a reduced output of 500 lumens, the technician will still have high-quality, bright light for up to 5.5 hours.
For continuous use, the CBH51 is equipped with a five-metre cable. Also provided is a fully-integrated telescopic mounting that can stretch up to 1.8 metres, and as the hooks are rubber-coated, there are no worries about scratching the vehicle.
The lamp can also turn by 360o while still held in position by the mounting hooks.
