Michelin Solutions has launched for digital services for the industry that maximise efficiency by making easy work of laborious tasks and incentivising staff.
The apps – MyInspection, MyTraining, MyRoadChallenge and MyBestRoute – will spur on drivers, driver trainers and engineering staff to reach higher levels of performance, reduce operating costs and simplify everyday duties.
MyInspection means that daily vehicle inspections with a pen and paper, often performed in rain or darkness are no longer the bane of a driver’s life.
MyInspection is guides the driver step-by-step through the inspection of their vehicle and it automatically reports anomalies to the workshop, with the aid of a photo.
MyRoadChallenge incentivises drivers by rewarding exemplary standard. With a “playful” interface, it scores and ranks drivers’ performance, and it uses the driver’s smartphone to analyse acceleration and braking. It awards points that are then converted into Amazon gift vouchers.
MyBestRoute allows operators to see their operating costs by route, and MyTraining allows trainers to train drivers quickly and efficiently by removing the need to file paperwork.
The suite of apps is open to all operators, regardless of their tyre provider.
