E-Leather has debuted a new seat material for the coach and bus sector. Called SL9, it has been developed to offer buyers better performance in two key areas.
The first of these has seen an advancement to meet the latest EU certification, R118.02, which relates to fire safety compliance on newly-designed vehicles.
The second advancement is a more design-driven influence in the material finish and texture.
“We can help operators to achieve highly-desirable interiors through a vast range of colours, designs and finishes, helping their vehicle to stand out while improving operational costs and providing a better passenger experience,” says Business Manager Ground Transport Alex Bennett.
E-Leather has been supplying sustainably-manufactured, high-performance materials to the industry for 10 years.
Its products’ inherently lightweight structure combined with durability means that operators can reduce costs in fuel and maintenance, and also in repairs, because E-Leather seats retain a high-quality and cleaner finish for a long period of time.
Using at least 50% leather fibre in each roll means that E-Leather materials have the same look and feel as traditional leather.
