At the CV Show at the NEC Birmingham on 25-27 April, vehicle lifting specialist Totalkare will launch an electro-hydraulic two-post lift with a safe working load of 5,500kg, making it ideal for minicoach operators.
The lift has a baseless, frame-free design and non-load bearing cables, which ensures even lifting and lowering. Its individual columns are fitted with their own control units and a double-S profile, providing the utmost stability and taking up minimal space.
It has a lifting height of 1.99m and a lifting time of 60 seconds. It also has a range of optional extras for specific makes of vehicle.
Totalkare’s Afterkare package comes as standard. It includes free site surveys, reports of examination using a nationwide network of engineers, and training courses covering such subjects as the safe operation of equipment, pre-use checks and regulations.
The lift is also suited to long-wheelbase vehicles and will be of use to operators of base models such as the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and the coming Volkswagen New Crafter and the MAN TGE, both of which will debut in right-hand drive form at the CV Show.
