In November 2018 Medway Council will be closing the Rochester coach park at Acorn Wharf.
In its place will be built a primary school, as part of the riverside development of 1,000+ units of residential accommodation.
Despite repeated questions to both the Council and the developers as to whether a replacement coach park will be built, no answers have been forthcoming.
For future events in Rochester such as the Dickens Festival and Sweeps Festival, we wonder where coach companies will be able to park.
Our own business relies on continental coaches being able to park conveniently close to the city centre where our host families meet their guests. Future business without a coach park looks very bleak.
