‘The industry needs to come
together and show their support’

Bus and Coach Association (BCA) can now confirm that Judicial Proceeding was issued to the UK authorities on the 13 December 2018, and permission was granted for the hearings on 30 January 2019.

BCA’s intentions is to seek clarification on the interpretation of non-commercial and the requirements to hold a commercial O-Licence, and to clarify the law regards the driving licence requirements when being paid to drive and the requirement to hold a DCPC qualification.

We have also been informed that the Community Transport Association and Mobility Matters have intervened as interested parties, Erewash Community Transport have declined their invitation to become an interested party.

Bus and Coach Association would like to take this opportunity to thank its members and supporters for their continued support, the industry needs to come together and show their support for this action or become a victim of unfair competition.
