Show almost sold out

November’s Euro Bus Expo show at the NEC, Birmingham is almost fully booked

Confidence in the market has seen this November’s major coach and bus show - Euro Bus Expo - become almost sold out.

The 1-3 November event, in Hall 5 at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, is Europe’s largest industry trade show this year and will see at least 25 vehicle manufacturers represented, alongside a host of other suppliers.

Online registration for visitors is now open for the show, staged every two years. In 2014 a total of 9,000 people from 47 countries worldwide visited the show

Martin Laverton: Demand ‘significantly higher’ than in previous years

In all, 274 exhibitors have booked space for 2016, leaving only 26 small stands still available. Space for vehicle stands sold out many months ago.

Says Euro Bus Expo Sales Manager Martin Laverton: “We’re delighted that we will be able to put on a really good event, that will see people from across the UK, Europe and the World coming to Birmingham.

“The demand for space has been significantly higher than in previous years and it’s been a challenge accommodating all the requests for space - especially the highly sought-after vehicle stands.”

Dealers and manufacturers will be displaying products from ADL, Beulas, BYD, EVM, Indcar, Irizar, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Optare, Otokar, Scania, Sitcar, Temsa, Unvi, Van Hool, Volvo, Wrightbus, and Yutong. There will also be a range of minibuses from a variety of suppliers as well as the Accessible Zone by Rescroft.

While most stand space is sold, sponsorship opportunities are still available for exhibitors, says Mr Laverton.
