The South West Falcon from Stagecoach has celebrated carrying over half a million passengers by surprising customers at Plymouth Coach Station.
Passengers waiting for the 1000hrs departure were met by the Stagecoach team who were handing out millionaire’s shortbread, free tickets and Falcon goodies.
Bob Dennison, Stagecoach South West’s Managing Director, says: “It’s amazing that, a little over two years since we started, we’re already celebrating this incredible milestone – and it’s fantastic to be able to share our success with our customers. This achievement is all down to our brilliant staff and our loyal passengers.”
On 21 May the operator will be introducing a new timetable for the service which has been designed to improve reliability over the busy summer period. Changes include a separate Friday timetable, more frequent journeys at the weekends and a revised route into Bristol that uses the South Bristol link road and Long Ashton Expressway.
