London coach tourist body wants new members: Book now for open evening
The London Tourist Coach Operators Association (LTCOA) is holding an open evening on Monday 24 April.
The event will be held at Hilton Garden Inn, London Heathrow Airport, from 2000hrs.
It will consist of some short presentations, a question-and-answer session, and an opportunity to network with existing members over refreshments.
Peter Bradley, Director of Administration and Development at the LTCOA, says: “We believe that the LTCOA offers a bespoke service to those operators who regularly run coaches in London. We would love to give the opportunity for other operators to come and join us.”
The LTCOA is a trade body for coach operators who regularly operate to, from and within London, for the purposes of business, leisure (including sport), education and tourism. Its current members have a wealth of experience of the challenges associated with coach operations in the capital.
It regularly meets with those who manage the road space in London including TfL, local authorities and London's airports, together with those who manage the capital’s key destinations, including theatres and other tourist attractions.
It aims to improve facilities for setting down and picking up and coach parking, and it also ensures that coaches in London are considered when decisions on key policies in London are taken.
Other benefits of membership include regular meetings and social events, a monthly newsletter, and coming soon, a new website.
