Mercedes-Benz’ wholly-owned dealership EvoBus (UK) used its three-day spring sales event last week to formally welcome customers to its new sales centre.
Just 400 yards from its existing HQ on the Coventry Cross Point Business Park, the refurbished building offers under cover storage and display for 20-30 coaches, along with an outside parking area.
The Richardson Way site is now be the sales centre for new and used stock, complete with a customer reception and meeting room.
Crucially, it will enable customer viewings to be undertaken under cover.
The expansion means that EvoBus will be able to concentrate its head office functions at its existing Ashcroft Way offices, where it will also continue to carry out pre-delivery inspection/preparation, plus a full service and repair offering.
At the open days last Thursday-Saturday, EvoBus (UK) Sales Director Marcus Watts reported “strong interest” in both new and used vehciles, with a number of sales completed over the period.
As well as a comprehensive line-up of used stock, there was also the opportunity to test drive all four variants of the new Tourismo, now available in right-hand drive.
