The TAP200 has been designed to allow the fast and accurate collection of data on commercial and fl eet vehicles and it can measure tread depth, irregular tread wear, and tyre pressure. It can also record damage to the tyre, valve and wheel for review later. Automated data collection means that the operator benefi ts in many ways, says Bartec; fuel costs reduce through correct infl ation and tyre life is maximised. Additionally, the number of service call-outs will reduce. The TAP200 uses a colour-coded warning system, which indicates and records the tread wear pattern using three points of measurement to clearly show the tread profi le. “We are delighted to welcome Butts of Bawtry as a distributor of the TAP200 and we look forward to a long relationship,” says Bartec MD Colin Webb. CoachScanner recently launched a suite of tools for operators. A straightforward booking system is based on CoachScanner’s understanding of technology and why customers book in the way that they do, and sourcing a quote is made easy for them. The website’s dispatch system allows operators to submit quotes and send booking confi rmations via email. Operators may also view their bookings via an online diary. CoachScanner’s booking engine allows easy key-in of details and it includes a tool that calculates times and distances. Prices for journeys are shared with customers immediately. A booking widget can be placed on operators’ websites quickly. It increases the number of customer requests, which can also be made via email. The widget is fully customisable. They include motivating drivers to reduce risky behaviour; reducing collisions, wear and tear and insurance and fuel costs; and giving live tracking of your fl eet, wherever it goes. The Drive app is a hardwarefree installation and it can be set up quickly. Available from the App Store or Google Play, it comes with a free 30-day trial and it automatically detects safety events. Drivers are provided with access to their trip history, event details and safety scores.
