Lothian Country has announced two new routes for its Green Arrow express coach operation in West Lothian and Edinburgh.
Operated with custom-built 49-seat Plaxton coaches, the new routes will start on 30 June from Linlithgow and Bathgate.
The Green Arrow operation, will a dedicated team of drivers, will run with eight coaches, all of which have a new forward-facing wheelchair bay and have been fitted with full coach seating, wi-fi, USB charging, mood lighting and audio-visual next stop announcements.
Nigel Serafini, Commercial Director, says: “We are fully committed to investing in and developing the public transport offering in West Lothian and building new connections within the area and into Edinburgh.
“We continue to see significant growth across our network in West Lothian since its launch in August last year and the introduction of these direct express coach services from Linlithgow and Bathgate will considerably enhance the offering for these communities and the greener options available for travel.”
Lothian Country is a Lothian Buses subsidiary, started in 2017 to operate route 43 to South Queensferry after Stagecoach East Scotland dropped the service.
