Lucketts Travel has seen an increase in the number of passengers it’s taking to museums, historical sites and gardens.
The firm saw day-trip passengers rise by 12% last summer compared to the same period in the previous year. More than a third of its coaches went out at full capacity and the company says 2019 “is shaping up to be even busier.”
Paul Barringer, Sales and Marketing Director at Lucketts Group, says: “We’ve undoubtedly seen the rise in visits to UK attractions reflected on the ground with the type of requests we’re seeing from customers locally.”
Paul adds that the company has adapted its latest day trip brochure to match the latest trend in consumer demand.
