Coaching Conference on day two complemented by Coach Commission, exhibition and ride-and-drive
The Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) is inviting all of its coach operator members to a new-style event that will be held at the Coventry premises of EvoBus (UK) on 5-6 December.
Entitled Tomorrow’s World, it includes CPT’s Coaching Conference on 6 December and will also feature an open meeting of the Coach Commission, a one-stop shop exhibition of supplier members, an EvoBus showcase and ride-and-drive opportunities.
John Johnson (pictured), Commercial Director of Johnsons Coach Travel, will chair the Coaching Conference.
Speakers are set to include Matthew Hassell of headline sponsor CoachHire.com and representatives of LowCVP, the National Infrastructure Commission, EvoBus, CPT, and government security advisors.
They will provide attendees with an opportunity to learn, discuss and debate many of the key issues currently impacting the industry. The sessions will also look to predict what the future may hold and the role that technology may play in shaping operations and passengers’ travel habits.
Says Mr Johnson: “I look forward to welcoming many CPT coach operator and supplier members to our event in Coventry. The revamped format demonstrates both CPT’s and the industry’s commitment to the sector and it acknowledges the many challenges that we will all face.
“The Tomorrow’s World theme recognises the vital role and benefits that technology, in particular digital and web-supported services, will provide to passengers, drivers and operators as we move into 2019 and beyond.”
CPT will also host a dinner and network event, sponsored by Backhouse Jones Solicitors, on the evening of 5 December at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Coventry.
