What goes round comes round. How often have we heard that, and in last week’s issue [routeone/news/1 February] we learn that Stagecoach are going to introduce minibuses as a 'frequency boost' in Ashford, Kent.
Shouldn't we say 're-introduce', for wasn't it in February 1984 that Harry Blundred introduced Ford Transit 'breadvans' in Exeter, and started a nation-wide explosion that gradually faded out over the next couple of decades? And what eventually happened to Harry's Devon General?
