Why are coach drivers treated with so much contempt in this country?
I [was] on a job at Sheffield Arena, sat waiting for over eight hours along with many other drivers. But upon going into the arena reception and asking to use a toilet, I was refused and told to go to the leisure/entertainment park across the road.
All well and good, but the toilets there are supposed to be for customers only, and by doing so I am entering licensed premises, and possibly I will encounter people who have drunk too much alcohol, or who are just out to cause trouble.
Is it really too much to ask that toilet facilities are provided for drivers who have brought customers to the arena who will be spending money there?
We're treated worse than animals.
