Excalibur Coaches changes hands

South London-based Excalibur Coaches has been bought by the owners of APEC Executive Travel of Cowbridge, South Wales.

With an O-Licence for 26 vehicles operating from Nyes Wharf, near Peckham, it’s “business as usual” for the firm says APEC Director Nicky Thomas-Llewelyn.

In addition to the usual mix of private hire and sporting trips, it runs an excursion programme.

Thanks to its location offering easy access to Dover, Excalibur runs day trips to France and Belgium every Wednesday and Saturday, alongside day trips to First World War cemeteries in Belgium, including the Menin Gate at Ypres, Tyne Cot and Langemark cemeteries.

APEC has an O-Licence for 10 vehicles, based at its operating centre near Bridgend.
