Andrew Pursey’s new firm wins Suffolk County Council contract

Andrew Pursey, former MD of Go-Ahead-owned Anglian Bus, has started a new bus company, BorderBus, based at Beccles, Suffolk. It has a six-vehicle O-Licence. .

BorderBus has won a five-year Suffolk County Council contract, to operate route 521 (Halesworth-Aldeburgh). A new 8.9m 29-seater ADL Enviro200, supplied by Mistral, has been delivered to work the route.

The contract was previously held by Nightingales, which used a Mercedes-Benz Vario.
