The Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) has appointed former routeone Editor and industry stalwart Mike Morgan as a Coaching Consultant. .
He will work alongside the CPT’s national and regional managers to help strengthen the bond between operators and the CPT, while also supporting membership recruitment and retention functions.
Mr Morgan’s long and distinguished career in the industry began in 1970 when he gained a PSV Licence. In 1989 he made the switch to transport journalism on Coachmart. In 2003 he joined Expo Management as founding Editor of routeone, where he was instrumental in the creation and implementation of the magazine’s successful Operator Excellence Awards.
Says Mr Morgan: â€œI am delighted to be joining the CPT on a part-time basis having worked so closely with its staff and members for over 40 years.
â€œI very much look forward to promoting the many benefits and the vital role the industry’s leading trade association plays, to coach and bus operators up and down the country.â€
