Addingham, West Yorkshire-based Steels Coaches has added its first Leopard-bodied Volvo B9R, supplied by Plaxton (01909 551166)..
The 12.8m coach has 59 Brusa reclining seats trimmed in red patterned moquette with three-point belts, and is one of the small number of Leopards mounted on Volvo’s Euro 5 chassis, which has increased its appeal to Steels.
“We see the Leopard as a very versatile vehicle which we can use across a wide range of our operations. It looks smart and good use is made of the internal space available. Plaxton has been a regular supplier and we are pleased to have dealt with them again,†says Operations Manager Matthew Steel.
Adds Proprietor Tim Steel: “Until the Leopard’s launch there hadn’t been a vehicle available to meet some of our business’ specific needs.â€
