Court for suspected National Express arson pair

Two teenagers, one from Birmingham and the other from Solihull, have been charged with setting fire to a National Express Trident in Sparkbrook, Birmingham, on 12 June. The ‘decker was destroyed.

They have been charged with arson with intent to endanger life and arson reckless as to whether life endangered. Also, a 49-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man, both from Small Heath, have been charged with perverting the course of justice in connection.

All four have been bailed to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on 28 August.
