Alexander Dennis (ADL) has appointed Ardee Coach Trim as its sole service and accident repair agent for ADL buses and Plaxton coaches in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Ardee will utilise mobile technicians, training, tooling and IT systems to assist operators. It will also provide aftermarket support for ADL’s framework agreement with the National Transport Authority (NTA) for up to 600 Enviro400ER ‘electric range’ hybrid buses.
Ardee Coach Trim is based in Co Louth, between Belfast and Dublin. It employs over 90 people and provides an extensive product and service portfolio that includes engineering, upholstery, repairs and painting. It has 20,000 ft2 of workspace.
Says ADL Head of Service Ian Wallace: “We are delighted to announce this co-operation with to give operators best-in-class aftermarket support. The partnership will also underpin our fleet of electric range hybrid buses for NTA, the delivery of which will begin later this year.”
