Busmark gains momentum

Launched in May at the ALBUM Conference, operators are jumping on board Busmark in advance of the inaugural benchmarking survey in September.

Adrian de Courcey FCILT, CEO of Coventry-based Travel de Courcey, says: “Busmark was in the research and development stage for over a year, but since its launch, we are seeing significant growth.

“Operators that have already joined Busmark range from 12-vehicle fleets to over 1,600-vehicle fleets. Collectively, these companies are operating an approximate fleet size of 6,532.”

Austin Birks FCILT, CILT Bus & Coach Forum Chair, says: “Busmark enables operators to identify and share best practices in a non-competitive club environment. They are confident that they run highly professional and efficient operations, covering a range of business disciplines, such as engineering, risk and safety and customer service, and Busmark will help them to evidence these levels of corporate excellence.”

Through the support of Marsh as Gold sponsor, and Lloyd Morgan Group, MiX Telematics and Omnibus as Silver sponsors, operators are able to join Busmark for 250 plus VAT.
