Seven runners and their supporters have put Reading Buses on the map by again competing in the Great South Run.
With most of the team running for Reading Buses Charity of the Year, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), it was only fitting that their transport to the race was the charity bus adorned with CALM messaging on it.
The bus was driven by Nick Mortimore who also cheered the runners on.
The group was led by organiser Kevin Pinches and also contained Paul Bridges, Graham Simmons, Jake Osman, Dawn Daniell, Matthew Daniell and Darren Batten.
For Kevin, it marked another successful Great South Run and supported the walk up Snowdon that he organised earlier in the year for charity.
Reading Buses CEO, Martijn Gilbert, says: “It is well done and thanks as always to Kevin for doing a great job in leading these events and it’s well done to all participants.
“We love to see our employees getting behind the charity of the year and pushing themselves to help raise money – and awareness – for such a great cause.
“People could not help but look at the bus and its messaging as they ran past so mission accomplished by Kevin and the gang.”
