Plaxton gathering at Kendal

A gathering of Plaxton coaches we held on Sunday (19 November) to celebrate 110 years of Plaxton.

In total nine Supremes (on AEC Reliance, Volvo B58, Seddon, Bedford YMT and Leyland Tiger chassis) were lined up, along with four Paramounts. (Leyland Tiger and Volvo B10M).

It was an idea of YMT owner Robert Lamsdale and AEC owner Bobby Graham, who chose KT’s Coaches of Kendal yard was picked for its central location.

Coaches came from Birmingham, Glasgow, Lockerbie, York, Colwyn Bay and Ingleton. Says MD Chris Stainton: “Everyone had a great day and we shall be doing it again!”
