National Express driver Billy Weir has beaten off competition from other 2,300 drivers to be chosen as Driver of the Year.
Billy, who drives for Parks of Hamilton, was one of 24 shortlisted to compete in a racing event at PalmerSport racetrack in Bedford, where he came first.
The competition is an in-house event in which drivers can only compete if they had been awarded a National Express Driver of the Month commendation during the previous year for their outstanding professional work in customer service, safety and driving skills.
