National Express West Midlands (NXWM) has raised £400 for CLIC Sargent from donations given on its Zombie Bus which ran on Halloween.
On 30 October the operator’s Birmingham Central garage ran a special 666 service on a loop around the city centre. Staff dressed up in full Halloween costume to play their part.
Elaine Griffin, Fundraising Engagement Manager for CLIC Sargent, says: “I’m so thrilled that the garage was able to raise £400 for CLIC Sargent. This donation could provide two families with a vital diagnosis grant to help cover the essentials after their child’s cancer diagnosis, or it could provide a family with nine nights of free accommodation at one of our homes from home. NXWM is a fantastic supporter.”
