Antimicrobial copper handrails are ultra hygienic

Handrails are among the most frequently-touched surfaces on a coach or bus, and that prompted Polish company STER to make them from an inherently hygienic material.

They are engineered to be lightweight, and the solid copper alloy chosen is attractive and colour stable with the additional benefit of being antimicrobial.

Copper rapidly destroys germs that can be picked up, unseen, from other frequently-touched surfaces, potentially causing illness.

STER’s products’ antimicrobial properties are based on scientific research and its hygienic products last a lifetime.

They are initially available only on the Solaris Urbino 12.
