Apollo Tyres has entered the coach tyre market with the EnduComfort CA, which it says is “nearly two times more durable than the minimum EU requirement” and delivers high mileage.
The EnduComfort CA is available at size 295/80 R22.5.
It has been developed for medium- and long-distance coach use by Apollo Tyres and is produced in Hungary. It has an advanced tread compound and a reinforced casing to “minimise abrasion, ensure cooler running and safeguard even patterns of wear,” says the manufacturer.
Mileage performance is consistent with coach tyres from established premium manufacturers and the EnduComfort CA has been certified for all-weather grip with the 3PMSF marking, the company continues.
Apollo adds that the new product “is available at an accessible price point” and that its tension-optimised ply casing has been engineered to facilitate re-treading to maximise the tyre’s life. It claims that the EndurComfort CA “will represent the best value for money in the European coach segment.”
Says Cluster Director Europe – Truck and Bus Tyres John Nikhil: “The coach market is extremely competitive, and we are launching our debut product confident that it offers the durability, performance and comfort than the most demanding coach owners and fleet operators across Europe now expect.
“The research and development team responsible for the EnduComfort CA have built on the success of Apollo Tyres products in the truck, passenger car and agricultural sector, drawing on expertise in design and materials to deliver a product that offers an optimal balance of performance and low cost of ownership.”
