‘Thanks to operators for dissertation help’

I have just finished my degree at Loughborough University, a four-year course studying Transport and Business Management.

Several coach operators were interviewed for London ULEZ dissertation

For my dissertation, I analysed the impacts of London's Low Emission Zone and the potential impacts of the forthcoming Ultra Low Emission Zone on coach companies operating in London.

This involved interviewing a number of operators to determine their experiences and feelings towards the schemes, as well as speaking with other industry members for further information.

I received fantastic support from the operators I contacted, and I would like to publicly acknowledge and express my gratitude to the following operators for giving up their valuable time to participate:

  • Andersons Travel, London
  • Barnes Coaches, Swindon
  • Dews Coaches, Somersham
  • Golden Boy Coaches, Hoddesdon
  • Greys of Ely
  • Hearns Coaches, Harrow
  • Johnsons Coaches, Henley-in-Arden
  • Lodge Coaches, High Easter
  • Lucketts Travel, Fareham
  • Provence Private Hire, St Albans
  • Richmonds Coaches, Barley.

I would also like to thank Andy Warrender at the CPT for his support and assistance, as well as Judith Hayton at TfL for providing information from their perspective.

With their help, I achieved first class honours in both my dissertation and degree.
