National Express UK Coach has once again been awarded the British Safety Council’s Sword of Honour in recognition of its excellent health and safety management standards.
It is one of only 85 organisations nationally to secure the award for 2019. It is also the only representative of the transport sector to achieve the accolade for five consecutive years. The recognition followed a five-star result from the Council’s 13-day health and safety audit alongside ISO 45001 certification.
Says National Express UK Coach MD Chris Hardy: “To once again be externally recognised for our efforts in this area is testament to our commitment and to the effort of every individual at National Express.”
The Sword is described as “the pinnacle of achievement in the world of health and safety management.”
