What do you do when your bank ‘wrongfully’ closes your business account? Pay them a visit, give them a call, or orchestrate a ‘peaceful protest’ by blocking its entrance with a coach? The Whisperer hears the latter is what Mumtaz Rasool, the MD of United Coaches and Minibuses, did outside NatWest’s Crawley branch after trying to get an answer from staff who claimed his account was “missing”. Mr Rasool says he was only fined for parking on the pavement. The Whisperer doesn’t know if the account has been found.
