Commonwealth Coaches of West Drayton has continued its fleet investment with the arrival of an Enviro400 double-decker supplied by Alexander Dennis.
It has 84 Lazzerini high-backed seats trimmed in Camira leather-look vinyl and with three-point belts. The upper deck has an air chill system while the driver gets cab air-conditioning. Also fitted is a radio and public address system, a digital tachograph, and Centrad CCTV.
Commonwealth Coaches will use the bus on a variety of private hire and contract work including school services.
Directors Ajay and Rana Sandhu say: “We are pleased to have chosen the Enviro400 double-deck bus to add to our fleet. The vehicle will ensure that we keep to our high standards for our passengers while out on the road. Thanks to Regional Sales Manager Mark Taylor for the smooth handover.”
Delivery represents further success for Alexander Dennis with retail buyers of the Enviro400. Adds Mr Taylor: “It has been a pleasure to work with Ajay and the team on this supply of the market-leading Enviro400, which is the perfect dual-purpose vehicle for Commonwealth Coaches’ operations.
“Ordered off the back of a successful demonstration, I look forward to seeing this vehicle become a great revenue maker for their business.”
