Cozy Travel of Sandy is the latest coach operator to become a FlixBus UK partner. Its work with the travel technology brand will begin on 13 June and include the addition of Brighton to the FlixBus scheduled network.
That will see the seaside town linked with Gatwick Airport, London and Cambridge twice a day as part of a Cambridge to London provision of four round trips daily.
Family-owned Cozy Travel celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2024. Director of the Bedfordshire operator Greg Powell also serves as National Chairman of the Institute of Transport Administration.
He says: “What FlixBus has achieved in just four years is nothing short of phenomenal. We are proud to become part of that journey and build our business with a forward-thinking brand.
“We have spent decades building a reputation for quality and care, and we are excited to bring our experience to Flix passengers.”
FlixBus UK Senior Managing Director Andreas Schörling adds how over 200 coaches in the business’s green livery will be on the road this summer and that it has “an incredibly positive” market outlook.
“Cozy Travel shares our drive for innovation and excellence, and its team is poised to deliver high-quality new routes as FlixBus moves forward towards market leadership,” continues Mr Schörling.
“This launch strengthens our network by adding one of the UK’s most in-demand destinations just in time for summer, bringing more affordable, sustainable and reliable travel to our growing customer base.”
