Minis to Midis’ five Noone Turas 600 midicoaches

Dealership reports keen early interest in the newly-revealed, modestly-sized Daily-based midicoach

The Noone Turas 600s is a smaller version of the established Turas 700

Minis to Midis has already sold five of the Iveco Daily-based Noone Turas 600s midicoach, and one displayed at CBUK had a variety of additional fittings over and above the standard specification.

The Turas 600s is 8.05m long and it complements the larger Turas 700. Minis to Midis aims the smaller variant at operators whose focus is less on outright capacity and more on luxury, and a revision already made is to the boot door.

It lifts to well over 6ft, meaning the likelihood of the driver’s head making contact is minimal, and a sturdier handle arrangement has been added.

Because of the Turas 600s’ compact dimensions, some operators see it as a viable replacement for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-based minicoaches, says Minis to Midis General Manager Paul Gardner.

“It’s the length that makes it attractive, but the uplift in price from a Sprinter-based coachbuilt Turas 500 is not huge,” he explains.

A Turas 600s shown at CBUK for an Irish operator showed what can be done with the model. It has 21 orange and black leather seats from Kiel – standard-fit are Sege – and the driver’s seat and the steering wheel are in a matching scheme.

The USB socket arrangement has been tidied up and now carries the Turas branding, and the floor at the nearside has been extended into the doorway to permit additional leg room

Minis to Midis also showed an extension to its Turas 900 midicoach, with 37 seats now the maximum possible.
