Pupils aged between six and 10 from Atkinson Road Primary Academy in Newcastle, were guest of honours when they visited Go North East's Riverside Depot.
The group began their visit after being picked up for an exclusive journey around Newcastle in one of the operator’s high-specification vehicles, before arriving at Riverside for a behind-the-scenes depot tour and a trip through the vehicle wash and fuel bay.
Assistant Depot Manager at Go North East, Phil Raynor says: “It was a pleasure to host the group at our flagship Riverside depot and we were delighted to hear the visit had a positive impact on the children’s learning.
“We hope the class will remember the trip for years to come.”
