The nine Tucana IIs for HCT Group will work in two London boroughs

Mellor has delivered nine Volkswagen T6-based Tucana IIs to social enterprise HCT Group for use on dial-a-ride services in London.

They follow six to the same specification supplied in September 2017 and they are carrying SEN passengers in the boroughs of Hammersmith and Wandsworth. They are owned by Dawsonrentals, which leases them to HCT.

Each fully low-floor Tucana II has 14 Phoenix Blenheim Shuffle seats, and if 11 of them are removed, four wheelchair users can be carried. Webasto climate control systems are fitted.

HCT Group says that it returned to Mellor following excellent performance from earlier minibuses.
