A retired double-decker named Bluebell, has been donated by Stagecoach North East to north-east cancer charity, Daft as a Brush (DAAB).
Bluebell Bus has undergone a transformation, with the lower deck converted to a kitchen and office and the top deck sleeping accommodation for the charity team.
DAAB has now embarked on a 7,000-mile trek around the coasts of Britain and Ireland. It will take an estimated two years and will include visits to cancer hospitals and schools to help raise £4m.
